Thanks for an update BenoBeno wrote:Of what? We are working on a new version as always. This one has a lot of bug fixes and some new stuff (nothing huge but definitely good to have). We are beta testing now but still have a little ways to go. Is that what you wanted to hear?
Ben
BTW; Will the "new/improved" version of T2 be able to finally remove all the temp files on exit..?!

Dude, templates have been discussed extensively! Tracktion already has the exact same functionality, but it's missing the name "template". That's all. People sure get thrown when the regular terminology isn't used.
Just like when people find out for the first time that plug-ins are called "filters"!!
Can't blame them for that one...
Just to be a nice guy, here's the "templates" tutorial that you might have missed the first time:
http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... e+tutorial
Still a wee niggle with the assigning of inputs, but even with a 20-input card, it would take less than a minute to finalize. I understand the comfort of just having it there WITHOUT the extra mouse clicks (not the making of a template, which is identical to any other software, but the assigning of input devices) just in a headspace kind of way, but if you take an objective step back instead of instantly reacting with "harrumph, if it doesn't have my inputs then it's not a template" (not that I'm accusing you, Lee, just covering my bases!!
) and see that it's less than a minute (more like 10 seconds... seconds are longer than you would think!), it's not really something I'd desperately need to put a rush on.
