Unfortunately, that's Native Instruments' fault. Tracktion can only report to you what NI reports to it.

Here's what you do:

1. Fire up a "test" edit so that you don't accidentally screw up your current project
2. Load up an instance of Kompakt into it
3. Turn on the automation record (down in the transport area)
4. Hit record, and then start fiddling with the appropriate knob (one at a time!) in Kompakt
5. Press stop, and then when you go to the pull-down menu that shows you the 511 different automatable parameters, the one that you've recorded will be highlighted in a different colour (green in the Classic Scheme). Write down the number and repeat the procedure.

Ugh.
