SweetyVST is still in my mastering chain as a sweetening EQ (oddly enough!) after 2 days so I can say I like the sound and facility of being able to manipulate audio harmonics directly, most plugs get about 20 seconds audition time when I know what sound I'm looking for - SweetyVST cuts to the chase so to speak. I'm hearing warmth, brightness, saturation, 1959 bassman amp, brittleness, mud, beauty & the beast in other words - depending on which freq bands I manipulate. It can destroy or save a mix - like anything.
I believe this could all be handled in a simple synth edit plugin where fundemental and up to maybe 15 harmonics could be individually set. I can take care of the multi-band aspect via Teknika Console since that allows me to play with the crossovers and fine-tune the sound and run in parallel if I wish. Pretty simple actually - thanks again Christian for the proof of concept tool you pointed me to!
