Seriously, from what I can tell one of the major advantages of Spectrasnonics' products is that they are produced with a high level of accouracy. But I haven't actually understood what makes the technical - i.e. not meaning the human factor - difference between a GC-Loop and a REX-File. You've said, GC-Files could be played in a wider range of tempos than REX-Files. Is this done with some sort of additional time-stretching or is a GC-Loop referring to a bunch of varying audio-files from one original loop, which are chosen from the software for the desired manipulation, e.g. a different tempo? Could you give a more precise hint or is this a company secret?
Also, I watched the RMX video yesterday and I was wondering if it is possible to set up different groups for imported REX-Files to manipulate the different sounds of a loop like snares and such.
