Korg Legacy Digital doesn't like Tracktion 2?

Hi k-bird.....Shame there is no public demo at the moment so others would have more than likely have checked it out with Athlons and different hosts......I can't see the new Syncrosoft license causing the problem since it's set in the dongle(I have mine on a 4 way hub with Novation Remote 25 and Optical Mouse and it was found ok for both driver and license install as well as authorisation during loading the plug,I did have an initial problem getting the license to download but worked out that it was to do with an issue with the Syncrosoft servers and Timezones)and it's also working ok in Buzz but you never quite know what these things are doing to check validity and if a bit iffy screw things from working properly.
Might be worth checking/letting the Syncosoft guys know also just to be sure it's maybe not something in the Copy protection getting in the way.
Hope you find out what it is.

I have a broken Korg M3R that I've been saving in a plastic bag for about 10 years... I guess I can throw it out now.

Hi k-bird.....Here's most of the Bug Fixes....interestingly quite a few GUI realted...hopefully it may sort it for you
Each Installer for VST/RTAS/Standalone 60 Meg each!
[Bug fix] When you are running multiple instances of the M1 as a plugin, the M1 might crash when you dragged and dropped a sound between the different instances. This has been fixed.
[Bug fix] Sometimes after changing the mode or the page of the M1, the computer keyboard would stop working for the host application. This has been fixed.
[Bug fix] When the screen of M1 was closed with a browser still open, some parameters could not be edited after re-opening the screen. This has been fixed.
[Bug fix] Input from the computer keyboard did not always operate the PAN parameters correctly. This has been fixed.
[Bug fix] While a drumkit, multisound or drumsound browser was open with SOLO on, parameter changes via host automation or received control change might result in hung notes. This has been fixed.
Various display anomalies have also been fixed

Yeah! Huge installers they are. I grabbed the newest one and it's still a no go. Foo.Motion wrote:Hi k-bird.....Here's most of the Bug Fixes....interestingly quite a few GUI realted...hopefully it may sort it for you

But there's light at the end of the tunnel: Korg Japan have responded that they've replicated the problem themselves and they'll work on it.
So it's official that there's a problem and Korg's looking into it. Yee!

I cannot get KLC working in T2 either....have a Dell P4 3.2 (Precision 370 workstation class machine). M2 acts flaky, shows only part of the GUI and it unusable (cannot change presets). Wavestation crashes Tracktion2. I have the lastest updates of everything.
This little plug-in saved the day for me once again: Xlutop's CHAINER VSTi: http://www.kvraudio.com/get/261.html
This is the greatest $60 I have ever spent. Whenever I have VST problem in Sonar, this thing will work by acting as a wrapper (within the wrapper). It's also great in that you can layer up a bunch of synths and save them as a Chainer preset (like your favorite Piano in Kontakt2 with your favorite pad from Atmosphere). Yes there are other ways (in Sonar anyway) to accomplish this, but still it's cool and useful.
And for Tracktion2 with M1 & Wavestation, Chainer allows them work PERFECTLY. You just load Chainer VSTi as a filter, then within it load the synth and away you go.
And of course now my "layers" that I have created as Chainer presets...I can USE them in Tracktion2 too!

Well, I feel pretty stupid! There is an easier solution. Turn off the setting "Use realtime priority mode" ! Doing this fixes M1 and Wavestation on my system.Hybernation wrote:I cannot get KLC working in T2 either....have a Dell P4 3.2 (Precision 370 workstation class machine). Also, without turning this off, Miroslav Philharmonik completely locks up my computer. With it off, works without a hitch.
50+ other VSTi's work fine with it on, and it seems to give me a little more horsepower, but these are three of my favorite ones, so I guess I'll leave it off.
I stand my what I said about Chainer being cool though

Well tonight I played with Rack Filters and realized it's pretty easy to set up multiple VSTs listening on the same MIDI input, so Chainer is not so cool and essential after all.Hybernation wrote:I stand my what I said about Chainer being cool though
And tonight my M1 stopped working again, just showing part of the GUI. I turned off ASIO-Direct and that SEEMED to fix it, but then I turned it back on and reloaded M1 and all was well....so go figure. M1 is just inconsistant with T2.
