Vinco, Impressor and D-Comp (creamware)

in the vst world, id say classic comp, blockfish and even tho i havent managed to save up for it yet, GUP-1. the GUP-1 is evil! and another one just like that, is Crunchessor. im gonna get both of them as soon as i have an income again. without a doubt.

oh and sonalksis comp also. easily forgotten.

Voxengo Soniformer 2 (unique), Marquis (flexible), and Polysquasher (clean) ... UAD LA2A (dark and smooth) and 1176LN (punchy and thick) ... Blockfish (really unique character) ... occasionally, VERY rarely, Nuendo's Multiband Compressor ... and for limiting, UAD Precision Limiter and Elephant 2.

I'm not sure I use any other compressors than these.

As a really transparent Limiter Voxengo Elephant rules big time.

For me it's

Voxengo marquis, Blockfish, WaveArts TrackPlug, Sonitus, soniformer.

If you've got UAD La2a is also a great plugin.

Kjaerhus Audio GCO-1, it's very nice sounding and extremely flexible. Top notch software.

I will say Voxengo Marquis(my favorite), Kjaerhus GAC1(I like the comps in it), Cakewalk Sonitus single and multiband comp(still great), and Kjaerhus GPP-1 for limiting or track compression.

All the Digital Fish Phones stuff is great. I do not think Ozone was mentioned yet. Trash even has a good one.

Agree with all of these. Check out the Timeworks CompressorX. Very versatile.

yes, I tried the Buzcomp CL's Demo, it is really great, and very easy to use, with fantastic sound.
But I think it is too expensive for me.

and I am going to try the free one you recommanded which is called blockfish.

yes, the digitalfishphones softwares are great! when I see the parameters refered, I think it is fantastic!

and I could not even beleive that it is FREE!
