While the sound fx sound good, if that's all there is, I think I'll pass on this one.

Am I missing some major features? Liqih?
depends of what you mean for major,

Swoosh is ultra light CPU usage, very easy to use,
it keeps playing while presets changes,
it has sample start offset adjustable
to pick the long FX pattern of the library
at the point you need,
Swoosh also features an interesting auto pan,

its other features are in EVE too

Anyway note that with the 684 MB of selected sound FXs in the library at USD 79.00, the Swoosh synth is almost a bonus

the cargories of the default Library are
1_ Arp_Pulse 34 sounds
1_Chords-Clusters 26 sounds
1_Drones-FX_a 86 sounds
1_Drones-FX_b 95 sounds
1_Vox 43 sounds
1_ Natural 33 sounds

many of them are very long sequences

(more will come with the BITR add-ons)

Swosh Machine is worth the price as a sound effects library for your other Dash players as it is. This collection will add a rich and diverse array of synthetic noises, environmental ambiences and "found" sounds to your sonic palate. You get nature sounds, industrial sounds, voices, synth noises and long ambient drones, and a bank of presest that tranform these sounds into unique surreal soundscapes that can add mood and atmosphere to your compositions. But while the primary value of the instrument may be in the samples, the instrument is not without value. It has a different feature set and sound than the other Dash players. If you can imagine using an fx library in EVE, why not see what Swoosh Machine can do for your instrument soundsets? If you want something very basic to play your DashSNDs in, two oscilators and a low pass filter, here's your baby. While EVE ONE is a "simple" player its signifigant limitation is having only one layer, so if you're an EVE ONE user who doesn't have EVE, Swoosh Machine is an alternative opportunity to get a Dash player that can do layering and splits, and get an effects library which you can mangle with EVE ONE's multimode filter and effects section. That is a very powerful 1-2 punch in my opinion. And it is dead-simple to use, in the Dash tradition. Load a soundset or two, tweak a few knobs and sliders and you're ready to go. So really, the true value of Swoosh Machine lies in your musical imagination.

major= different enough and imprtant enough for users to want to buy it.

So far the main reason seems to be if you want an sound fx sample library with a player as well. If that's what it is, ok; I just wanted to know if it was any more than that. It seems not.

No big deal, I'll just focus on Modelonia now.
