Now that's a nice GUI.
I personally don't like these new Wavearts GUI's, on the other hand I like Voxengo GUI's where a lot of people around here think that he should over haul them go figure.

HI

I think I will be up-grading soon - the Track plug is a great EQ/Comp, I like the Plate alog in the new reverb.

The GUI is clear and laid out nicely: IMO that is all that matters.

I think that the Wave Arts plug-ins are really top notch and I am really impressed with the enhanced flexability of all the range - I would love to see a modulation/delay plug by this company.

flipper.

exactly, tt. I don't like the GUI of Voxengo plugs at all. They look like they're made of some cheap softwood. Love the freebies, though! 8)

I agree! A few more upmarket materials in the virtual construction wouldn't go amiss. Lovely plugins though.

If they would drop the C/R protection crapolla, I would buy the whole suite in less than a minute.

If there are any specific concerns about C/R that I can help address please feel free to let me know. We only went that route out of necessity, as our simple serial number scheme left us way too vulnerable to piracy, especially considering the demo and actual versions are one and the same (the "keycode" unlocks the demo version, removing the time-out restriction).

We allow up to three keycodes per serial number (for single users to install plug-ins on multiple machines they may own), our keycode system is instantaneous (you get your keycode via email the moment after you purchase and then register) and I am always available to help out with extra keycodes and such if for some reason the three have been used up and a user is switching to a new computer etc. In practice we usually respond to these kinds of requests within an hour or so during business hours, and generally not more than 24 hours otherwise. As our customers will tell you (and not just related to this issue), we really do put a large emphasis on timely customer support.

Anyways, just thought I'd mention all this in case it provides any more peace of mind. :)

gosh, i would have absolutely no qualms at all dealing with wavearts' protection scheme.

also, as rp, pointed out... a nice policy of allowing the plug to be on up to three computers.

and the low resource usage is amazing.

when I saw yesterday that Masterberb5 was out my first impulse was to hit the buy button immediately!!! but I need to do some quick checking finances wise first and then explore my upgrading options.

my ultimate plan is to get the whole wavearts suite and ditch the waves items i have. looks like wavearts will handle things quite nicely and perhaps even better for my uses. i might wind up leapfrogging to get there though, will have to see. might just get masterverb now and then maybe the trio after that, then the full.

looks like there is a good upgrade path! :)

Oh... and the new guis are very nice indeed. Looks like there is nice contrast and they are easy on the eyes. Lots of good information there all to see.

As opposed to some other competing plugs that i have here.

Truth- I think the longest it's taken Rob to get back to me with a keycode is five minutes :D

Thanks for taking the time to respond to my rather cantankerous zinger. (And also thanks to those who took the time to post their positive experiences with Wave Arts.)

Seems like you're one of the good guys, Rob. I guess I chose the wrong hill to make my stand on.

Well, it won't be "less than a minute" but, it looks like I have some serious reconsidering to do.

Well as we continue to gain more momentum in the industry we're certainly not expecting that :-o but don't worry, whatever happens in the future we will make sure our customers are taken care of.

I don't like this verb too much. A few nice sounds can be done with it but most stuff sounds poor to me. Too many knob positions bring to much bad sound. Too much coloration of the bad kind. The GUI is not my style either to say it polite.

Love the sound, love the GUI, love the cpu efficiency; too bad it's priced completely out of reach for me :(
