just want to report that zebralette is incredibly good, you could say maybe too good for nearly-free-ware.
so everyone grab a magazine and loose-put directly

Fantastic Synth! Can't stop tweaking presets the whole night long....
But hey, will presets created with Zebralette be loadable in Zebra2?

Yes, Zebralette import is planned. It won't be in the preview version though.
It's gonna go a bit, uhm, further than just that. As Z2 is essentially 4 x Zebralette (plus filters, plus FM, plus PM, plus simply *more*), I'm working on import of up to 4 Zebralette patches into one Zebra2 patch. So you can make split sounds, velocity crossfades, stereo layers or whatever from your Zebralette creations and refine these with the other synthesis methods available.
Cheers,

Comb filters is a slight understatement thoughkodama wrote:Ahhhh via pitch controlled comb filters, sweet!
Oh... and Phase Distortion is already built into the OSCs: PhaseRoot/XFer and Trajector a different Phase Distortion algorithms

Ahh, great - so I can start using Zebralette in "official" projects now, and then later exchange it by Zebra2....Urs wrote:Thanks!sir quickly wrote: Fantastic Synth! Can't stop tweaking presets the whole night long....

Hoioioi! Dann ick will not throw away Zebralette but use it as an "easy interface" alternative!Urs wrote:It's gonna go a bit, uhm, further than just that. With all the different synthesis methods, the tuned comb filters and the wavetables (and with what I hear in Zebralette) Zebra2 looks like the one that will give Absynth a rest for a while... and PPG Wave 2.V as well of course!

Slightly OT:
I eagerly await the UK magazine that will have Zebralette on it. Any chance that Podolski may see the light of day in a UK mag? I seem to remember something about it being given away exclusively with the German (Keys? Keyboards?) magazine for a certain period of time.
Cheers

The Zebralette manual is currently being translated to English.Shifrin wrote:I eagerly await the UK magazine that will have Zebralette on it. Podolski has entered its next level of usage, it'll be bundled with a certain host software. But that's not necessarily exclusive. Not yet sure what'll happen with it. My head is currently occupied by other things...

You see, it's basically just a Zebra oscillator...
