Is there the smallest chance of a bundle offer that would bring the pricing more in line with the miro plugin instrument?

What is there that justifies an extra $300 should you want all the samples, are the little combinator tricks and programming all really worth that?
Well, firstly, the original library still sells for thousands of bucks all together and previously sold for even more. This is a different offering than Miroslav Philharmonik which is one plug-in with a complete orchestra and choir. True if you were to buy all 6 it costs more. But, with Philharmonik you don't have the option to only spend less than $200 to get the String Ensembles or the Brass if that is what you are looking for.

I wouldn't say that the combinators make it worth more. You can actually do more with the engines of Philharmonik with tools like Stretch which nothing else has except IK ST-based players. But, there are trade-offs from both our side and your side. From our side Philharmonik is protected with a key and it can be justified to charge less than we would normally (ie. normally we would charge over $1,000. for the complete orchestra and choir collection). The reason for that is because less (or none) are copied and more are legitimately sold. With refills, there is encryption at least but not the same degree of protection so they can't be quite as low justifiably (at least by that philosophy). However, I know that people still would like to have dongle-less orchestra and choirs of this quality inside their Reason 3 so at least we're offering them that! The other thing is that the amount of people expected to buy the plug-in vs. a high end refill (even if it was the price of Philharmonik all together it is more than the price of Reason itself which may be a challenge for some and this is an experiment to see if Reason users will accept high end sample libraries... which I think they will because a lot of people use Reason and why not have great sound like this?)

We will offer a great deal for all 6 though. Maybe not quite as low as Philharmonik but I am sure closer to that price might make some people want to get all 6 at once. You'd have to email sales@esoundz.com and ask for a deal on all 6. Maybe if you are a gold or platinum esoundz customer that can be taken into extra consideration. Oh and also there is a crossgrade for any Philharmonik users as well. I don't know what that price is yet though. Like I said, at least there are options for different working environments.

Thanks for your cohesive reply Squids, I'm going to have a think about this and post my views on the matter when I have had the chance to gather my thoughts.

Can I trade in my Miroslav plug and get a discount on all the refill as a package? Just a thought.... I have been using Reason 3 and Live 5 exclusively right now, just seems like a better fit with the Refills than with Miroslav as a plug in Live 5.

Think this is possible? :)

No, that's not possible. But, like I said there will be a crossgrade discount for Philharmonik users that want to get the refill version. It is different so it might be good to have them both if that is what your set up is like. I know there are many people who have say ProTools and Reason as well. So, having Philharmonik as a plug-in and the refills for Reason gives you more options.
