That pic looks like keymapping to me.
Hmm. If they make a plugin where you can choose whatever VSTi's you like and easily and accurately map stuff to the controller (which gives feedback about the parameters)... And it would work well in sequencer... That would interest me.
Actually, I really hope it's like that.

I dont see all the fuss if it's just that, seems something you could arrange in in example: bidule and probably more hosts out there, not only with more flexibility, probably at a way less cost.

Yah.. So far it looks like something you could make with ANY control surface and a midi switcher inside of ext to rout your control surface to different vst's..
Well i guesse the one thing it does have is "genre browsing" of different genres of presets.. sounds..
Maybe theres more to it than it looks like.. Throw in a killer sequencer with swing grid and maybe i'de buy it.

Lemme guesse.. It ONLY works with NI's expensive ass vsts? Not that i dont want it AND the vsts, but if theyre gonna charge a lot.. It should work with many different vsts.

im clearly a little confused...
this looks like just a vst rack with a very minimally knobbed (though nice looking) hardware controller. the color scheme and general graphic design of kore's software looks to be below NI's usual quality too, but thats just a personal visual preference thing.
the whole sound database thing is a good idea, provided it works correctly. (i've experianced a constant and very annoying bug in kontakt 2's DB.) i saw mention of signal routing stuff, so that could be cool too...depending on how well featured it is. the potentially automated changing of setups is certainly a great idea for live players.
ok...so i can see the advantage of this system for live use, but what will it offer for studio use that our current hosts dont already do? where is the major advantage of using this (probably expensive) thing?

AMEN!!!!! NI is too expensive (at least for me) and that Kore thing looks like a more sophisticated (and expensive) Chainer.
Thanks but no thanks.

Maybe it would be useful for live stuff.
As more details are released it may start to look more attractive.
I have the distinct feeling that it will be rather expensive though, more so given that it is bundled with the dedicated controller.
Wonder if it will be cool with third party controllers? (I'd guess so).

The controller looks ok, but it hasn't that many elements. Let's hope they're easily cascadable otherwise it's too much just a dongle.
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

To me this just looks like a way to organize an unorganized mind.. I don't see any need for it or that I can't do what it offers in several other ways. Am I missing something?
