I really like the third image--if everything else works so intuitively, I'm going to be real interested in this one!

(Of course, I mean the third on the news announcement)

Very nice and I can't wait to use it.

I hope that controller is optional I don't want to have to pay for software that requires special hardware to run.

I look forward to learning why it's not as good as ORION.

From the write up here, I don't think the controller is optional.

From what I can tell, it's essentially a software version of the Receptor. You can host plugins, configure multi-plugin set-ups, assign keyboard splits, etc.

But nowt mention of a sequencer, as some have suggested.

sounds a bit like a BrainSpawn Forte rip-off.

but that is cool with me;-)

Maybe you're right. I haven't tried Forte in a long while, so can't recall everything it does. But this and Receptor sound very similar, for sure (in function, so excluding the rack box and Linux wrapper things).

Oh gawd this is why I haven't tried to use ProTools becuase you need the hardware to run the software. If this is acutally good I might overlook the required hardware.

Maybe I'm too stupid to understand this thing but I have no idea what its supposed to do.

I might have jumped the gun with that part, but what's this supposed to be? Looks like there's at least *some* sort of sequencing going on here..Or is that a keymapping function?
