Thanks for the help Dave, I eventually figured out what I was doing wrong, I was forgetting to set the root note info!
Currently building a Rhodes patch (more for practice than anything else) and these are some features that I think would be useful in future updates
1) The ability to load multiple samples at once.
2) When loading a sample, if the sample list is bigger than the display, the last sample in the list is not highlighted by default.

Well, I don't know the Orion Plat sampler. The main thing you might be missing would be the sensational filters that come with the DS-404. They make this otherwise so-so sampler really stand out. Plus the fact that you get it with a mag and along with that mag comes quite a bit of other top class gear.
