Yes it is you! Sorry man but you dont have to be an Einstein in audio to hear and test that. I will speak shortly about reverbs.

Thanks for the info but you mix-uped two different clauses  The first ends with "Is it me" the next begins a new thought...

And I don't mean just reverbs I was talking about any audio related software. I will try the expensive reverbs and I am sure you're right but an another interesting question is will the average listener notice the quality of reverbs in a song on the radio? In the end - who is the judge? Einstein is a symbol of intellingence but really stupid people can be a lot more musical...
Yes and i am answering to your question "is it me?"
And i stated that i will talk about reverbs. Well...you asked and i put IMO answers. Again take Arts Acoustic and take freeverb. Make two mixes and judge byyourself. I am almost sure that you WILL hear a difference. AA reverb is well known to "fit in a mix". Go and try...

That Einstein is just metaphor in context of better (and sarcastic) explanation of subject. And i know that you get it right from start

Anyway my opinion is that there is no stupid peoples. Just good and bad. and to add more ironic even that "bad" are good in some way. Everyone can do "a thing" if she or he wants that. Its just you! And if someone can make good melody or music(or be more musical) i do believe that same person is far from word/description "stupid"...

a very important question is WHEN do you need a feature
Mackie Finalizer cost i think $ 399,- when it was released - now you pay 150,- incl. tracktion +++ ...
i think in the reverb section there are (still?) the biggest differences in between free/cheap and expensive plugins, in other areas the (almost-)free ones are often better (MrRay 73 beats EP 73, NubiLE beats B4...)
it is incredible what you can get if you invest 40,- in energyXT and download some freeware ...
if you have a little more money left tracktion gives you an easier workflow (depending on what you do)
what actually puzzles me is that we have such amazing tools whilst people listening to music mostly seem to do this with crappy mp3 players

Hi Bosse Jo. I notice that you too are from Sweden. Do you know anybody who sells boxed Tracktion in Sweden?

Integrated VST plug-in support, loop tuning, batch conversion, scripting, support for video files.. I could probably go on.

Don't misunderstand me: I own the Magix Cleaning Lab AND Soundforge 8 AND Acoustica.. they all have different strengths (though I use the Magix one least, mostly because I know my way around the other two better)

You must be very young, or something else... :hihi:

No i am not young. You see there are people which think that they know everything, they think that they are smarter so in the end they act like that. Maybe you can label them as stupid. But at the end they are not stupid. They just believe in something. Stupid believing maybe...but how is your or mine better then those from "stupid" group ??

It's always like that. Since from very bebinning. But that is only my IMHO

Yep, Lutman has is the general agent for Tracktion in Sweden (You will not find it on their crappy homepage though, but they have it).

I just talked to my nearest music store and asked them to order Tracktion 2. It cost 1590 kr I think.Three days later it was installed :).

Hm my version has Vst-support and batch conversion. (You get two programs, Music Editor has batch conversion). Scripting and support video files - don't think so. And there is also the fact that Magix costs 40 Euros (30 if you download). I admit that I was trying to be a bit provocative, I mean the big 3 cost 10 ten times as much (Wavelab 20 times I believe) so if they do not have something that magix hasn't - well then it is very peculiar don't you think?

 Just shows how little I've used it so far! I only bought it for the spectral editing actually, as otherwise I've got my audio editing needs well covered.. ;)

Thanks. I suppose that's why Jam doesn't list it then. Do Luthman still refuse to supply Jam?
I suppose I'll have to visit Estrad at Folkungagatan.

BosseJo I will like to asked because I have found Magix to have horrible customer service. Is the following the case with your two programs. Cause in my programs the cleaning lab does have vsts but basically just one at a time. The audio editor does not support vst only dx and the audio editor only does destructive editing.

About the Vst and Dx: I think you're right. A strange thing is that in the corner of the plugin window in Music Editor it says: Directx/VST plug-ins Master. But I don't see any Vsts either :?

Perhaps this is why wavelab costs 20 times as much :?:

About the destructive editing: Check out the virtual editing in music editor.-> File -> new virtual project and then, Object -> new object (if you have an audio file loaded already). VP is a kind of a map of the audio and does not change the original file at all.
