Are you getting this problem with just your uad1 plugins or with all vst's?
Only, I've not had that problem at all with any of my plugins (that I've used In AA so far). :?

It's already been hinted at.

Good idea. All my .dll's ammount to around a couple of hundred mb, so yeah. Gonna try that. Plus I'd only need to copy the supported ones! :D

Yeah -- I can understand why AA will dump out on dodgey VSTi FX. I reckon they are totally righteous when it comes to AA's ability to wrap good vs bad plugs, since the legit VSTi 2.0 spec is not brain surgery. If anyone might remember, Aleksie's stuff wouldn't fly very well in AA 1.0 and that got fixed quite well. So putting your tried & true FX DLLs in the AA plugin folders can help mightily (again -- IMHO) *and so now I don't bother anymore to direct AA to scan any other dirs than it's own.

NOw, I don't use Waves or GRM, and have no problems.

You probably are innocent, but I had that exact same problem when I used the warez-ed GRM & Waves bundles.

Just slightly suspicious

I don't have Warez, And that goes for any waves product too, because I simply can not afford to buy one so I don't, GRM is it not something made by Steinberg, well I do not have it either.

I don't think G-Ro124 was actually addressing you with that post. :)

Just turning on Adobe Audition 2, makes this happen, or rather sometimes it is not there, but then it says that the audio driver dissapears, and then adds that i have to choose my audio driver again In Hardware Properties, or something which name I right now can't remember. So I go choose my M-audio Delta Asio audio driver. And then it happens, maybe I should try another one, but which :?:

Well my mistake then, it came after my post so I thought it was for me.

Thanks For mentioning it, Glassback.

Would it be possible for you to write exactly what happens, what messages you get etc?
Vagueness doesn't help.

It's not a problem I've come across at all in any of the Cool Edit / Audition versions, but maybe with a bit more specific detail maybe your problem can be identified. Although it sounds like either you're just not configured correctly or your sound card's at fault. :? Probably the first option at a guess.

The problem is, this message comes at random so I never now when, but the noise is there most of the time, could it be that Adobe Audition has a problem with the driver for My M-Audio Delta 24/96 audiophile card, or with Asio. I can try and write the message down next time, but I think I can remember more of it now. It goes, Your soundcard driver has failed, it is either bad connected or there is something wrong with your driver, choose a new one in hardware settings. so I do, assuming the default driver in audition is not my asio driver. Trouble is no other Software seems to have any problems with it.

@drinelli

Sounds like perhaps a driver conflict to me. Have you checked to see if you have selected your default sound controller properly in "Control Panel/Sounds and Audio Devices" ?

Well when the Audition windows sound is chosen, it seems like there is no noise. But would that not mean that at some time that driver fails, and choosing a new one makes the noise, so maybe it just jumps of the horse and needs to be pushed up again, because it does seem like it don't like my asio driver.

Post

Something though, should the same driver be used in all three categories. It was not before, and a driver was chosen for So.So. which i do not have.
