Yeah, you know, I used to have a great method back in, like, '98, using CWPA 9, and Tape Sim or Amp Sim, some compressors, EQ...totally forgot it. I've always meant to take the time to make a good homemade, fake vintage drumloop collection - this will be good motivation!

I'm really excited for this plugin. Is it going to emulate the sound of 2" Tape as well?

There's no sound examples to show off, but naturally there will be a trial version available. And it should be available soon.

Thanks for the interest! I'm quite excited too

There will not be any specific and detailed tape-emulation going on in Sonitex. The focus is primarily on vinyl and digital sampling (and the vinyl aspect is something I am very proud of. It offers a whole new level of realism and creativity). However, you will be able to dial up some good quality "tape-like" tone using the dynamics, distortion and tonal adjustments along with pitch & noise modulation.
