Will check that!fycfung wrote:I found a bit of a bug: I was trying to create a two-measure loop in the sequence editor, and I zoomed in so that the two measures filled up the editor, and then I couldn't zoom back out. So I couldn't get the loop end marker to become visible (it was offscreen to the right), so I couldn't make the loop any longer.

The composer loop is now indicated by the grey/colored bar in the timebar.Bonteburg wrote:no loop icon in 'Loox Voidex'

On Mac OSX, a vst plugin can come in 2 formats: CFM, which was the standard format of the older OS9, and MachO, which is the format of osx itself.ttoz wrote:what's "cfm" plugins??
So CFM is the format that was used in Classic OS 9, and to maintain compatibility, Apple did some tricks to make it work on OSX too. But one day Aple will drop it.

I understand; Will come one day i think.pljones wrote:The editor for controllers/parameters is sweet - I hadn't noticed it before. Set the part/player, pick the controller/parameter, draw in the automation, watch the knobs and sliders fly! Fun!* Midi Controllers to VST Parameter mapping
I'd rather have the mapping control on the Edit panel of the plugin itself, rather than on the player panel Options button. It wasn't that obvious to me..!
Huh? It works for both effects and instruments! And why does the mapping only apply to effects? (Edit: s/doesn't/does/)
And even for MIDI Players: controller X can be remapped to controller Y.

Yes, please email it to me.There's a bug when after recording some midi, and then splitting the clip : the clip doesn't send midi data to the plugin -> I have the session file : if you want I can PM it to you.

Right, will see what can be done about the audio output selection...silicon/silicium wrote:currently playing with it, first problem, my main audio output is not the first output of my driver so I cannot hear anything (and I m not able to select the output).
otherwise I m trying to learn a new logic, and it seems pretty interesting as I plan to have a computer audio workshop for teenagers in the school where I m working.

Checked it, but couldn't find a problem.muzycian wrote:Will check it.Bonteburg wrote:I get hanging notes when i play many notes rapidly on my MIDI keyboard (admittedly pushing it a little hehehe).
I went wild on my keyboard (and invited some cats from the neighbourhood and let them fight on my keyboard in order to increase the keyhits-per-second
Was that with a VSTI or with a MIDI instrument?
If VSTI, which one?

OK, I think I figured out the issue. It seems like the sequence editor allows you to zoom out to about twice as many measures as there are events in the part. The only issue with that is when you are just starting out and you have like one note. I suggest that you be allowed to zoom out to at least 4 or 8 measures even when there are no notes. Also, I think you should always be able to zoom out to where the loop end marker is, even if it's more than twice the length of the notes.fycfung wrote:I found a bit of a bug: I was trying to create a two-measure loop in the sequence editor, and I zoomed in so that the two measures filled up the editor, and then I couldn't zoom back out. Ah... There seem to be quite a few that don't work.muzycian wrote:Huh? It works for both effects and instruments! And why does the mapping only apply to effects? (Edit: s/doesn't/does/)
And even for MIDI Players: controller X can be remapped to controller Y.
Don't work:
AZR3 (B3 emulator)
BoB (303 emulator)
Crystal
EZpoly
Work:
CM-505 (drum synth)
CM101 (VA)
Cameleon 5000
DS404
Delay Lama
I was just unlucky to try it with synths in the "don't work" list (Crystal, EZpoly and sfz). Is there a reason why some instruments are controllable through mapping and some aren't?
This would be really useful: losing all my remaining audio outs when LUNA opens is irritating - I have to remember to open everything in the right order (LUNA last).Right, will see what can be done about the audio output selection...

This version of Luna Free is starting to work for me.
I've been having some problems with my VSTs. It looks as though they are found in the scan at start-up. They are listed in the VstPlugins.xml file. How can I do a re-scan? Can I edit this file manually to remove things?
I can make a little tune with CM-101, SR-202 and DS-404. If I try to change the part's player by adding a new synth, only the 5 CM VSTs appear in the list. (My VST Folder has VSTs in folders excactly where the installers put them, eg CM Studio Plugins OSX. But, there are other folders for VSTis, eg VSamp. The effects are seen, eg PSP SpringVerb CM VST etc)
I'm going to hit the 4 VSTi limit soon. It is ok to render a track into audio. How can I then free a spot for a new VSTi? I can't see how to remove a VSTi once I'm finished with it.
Has anyone requested more "drag and drop" functionality for importing audio/midi clips? It would be very nice to click on a loop or other audio file in a folder, then drag it into a (new or existing) track where I want it, making new part with correct length etc.
