Good question. I'm sure there is no harm in trying. Perhaps run two instances for an hour and see what you get?

It'll definitely add that old school CPU under-run vibe to your synths, it'll be like 1998 all over again.

I'm DLing this thing right away. Do you recommend running two of these in series or parallel? I want max warmth.

This is unrelated to the subject, but how did you do this snapshot of Cubase? I'd like to provide snapshots of my tracks to my mastering engineer for info purposes.

You can just grab the area you want and it will auto-output the best format, etc. The free version is probably enough if you just want decent screencaps.

You don't even need that if you have windows. Just press ctrl and alt together, then while holding them hit 'print scrn/sysrq' (it's up on the top of the keyboard, right after F12). That will essentially copy the picture of whatever is on your monitor to your computer's memory. Then you can open up microsoft paint (in your programs menu under accessories) and click 'paste' from the menu. Then from there you can save it as a jpeg.

on an azerty keyboard <Print Screen> does it. dunno if you do need the <Ctrl> + <Alt> on a qwerty.

Yeah, you don't need the modifier keys. The reason I suggested that program is that it's free, you can use a selection rectangle to grab only the area that you want, it automatically optimizes file format/size, will save to a default or custom location and allow for auto-naming and per-instance naming. And you don't have to go START MENU/PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/PAINT. And Paint is a lousy program.

<Print Screen> alone makes a snapshot of the whole screen(s). Holding it down together with <Alt> only the window in focus.
