The best VSTi midi key mapper is the Kmap by David Haupt
http://www.dehaupt.com/SynthEdit/ but is not listed. It maps
each key separately to any other key or in patterns. You will
have to ask for it by email, but it is not free.

i want to make a plugin specifically like that too, as it's a very specialised task and doesn't suit more general things (such as the filtering by systems like midi-ox and the plugin i'm already doing). it's not hard tho, just specific, and i'll make one next (and it'll be free too).

any suggestions will be taken on board.

In EnergyXT there is a midi key mapper for free called
Kalamata mapper 128. It was made
using SynthEdit by NicFit.

Not free but Bidule has

a not remapper. I believe that Bidule can be a VSTi.

yeah what I meant to say, thanks KK ,it wont output midi when dropped into midi track in Live, don't spose theres much you can do about that...

The K128 will only work inside energyXT as far as I know.

Does energyXT work inside Live?

I think I tried xt in Live but its too many apps and variables. Like to keep things to a minimum you see.
