I'm awefully proud to have made about half those presets

150 of the included presets! I thought there were a lot with RUN next to them



That makes my 5 included presets look pitiful In fact there's so many presets I had trouble finding mine

I was always asking questions and made way too many
presets and then the waveform thing arrived and I went hogwild.

I laugh when people talk about the sounds of their damned tarnce synths - Acidome utterly kicks ass in the sound and filters area, plus drawable waveforms, plus that standalone app that resynthesizes your .wavs...

Really, it's not my usual fare. I usually go in for the wickedly complex, inexplicable monstronsities. Acidome is straightforward but with some loving care can be twisted into a retardulous array of sounds.

Thinking about how much I loved making presets for Ironhead's drum sounds, and my love of physical modelling, you can imagine that I'm a little worked up about this new nusofting drum synth.

It'll take me years just to use all the presets that I made, let alone all the others'! Saved me a lot of work in making synth basses, though

I just read, Runa made about 150 presets for it. Thanks a lot for these and also to the others for their presets. I just have to repeat, what i've said before. This synth is absolutely awesome and easier to handle than other wavetable-synths and the presets demonstrate well its possibilities.

Well... I clicked the last option. I tried the demo but I don't know what to say... I have many softsynths and Acidome is nice, all I can say is that actually there are many nice softsynths and acidome is powerful, cheap, sexy and so on... I just bought WS3, which is a very different product, and my HD is full of not-enough-tried little wonders. What could I say more ?

Pretty much my thoughts as well. I'm actually more interested in things like Marimka (which has been on my short list for a few months now ) than on a synth no matter how nice and powerful... on the other hand, dks IS gorgeous

I like Liqih's work and I eagerly looked over the synth. But I didn't download it. Why ? Well, call me shallow, but it's just too ugly. I can't see myself having that up on screen. If it gets a professionally designed skin then I'll look again. I've just got too many synths to bother with something that I don't immediately like in *every* way.

Truth in advertising before I opine: I gave Luigi a littl bit of help with the ad and the manual. And if you are as classy person as he is, I'd do the same for you!

That being said, this is a great little synth. Like all of his products, past and present, and his joint ventures with Aldo and others, it is fantastic value for money.

Luigi deserves all the support you can give him. He's responsive to suggestions, fixes problems quickly, he's full of IDEAS. Samplers, Romplers, synths, physical modelers, he makes them all. And he already made two of the greatest of all synths: EMM Knagalis and Modelonia.

It would probably sell better if it had ToTc presets in it.


I have this synth....excellent little addition. Not sure why it's not selling...it's possible that it's just market saturation. There's so much shit out there that it's hard to get something in the spotlight for the period of time required to effectively market it.

also I'm thinking about what funxi wrote "Samplers, Romplers, synths, physical modelers, he makes them all.", he meant it in positive (see his post, <grin>)
but there could be a drawback

I mean most of the small developers are specialized in one kind of product and maybe that gives a stronger image (?)

Whoa, that was meant to be praise, not criticism! What I probably should have said was "he has made them all at various times." Your versatility is your unique selling proposition.

Just a thought: maybe it's time for a website upgrade? E-Mail me if you want some free labor.
