well i love it not to be so static - to save
just to take it as an evolution to develop.
urs let it be as it is - nice on guitar and voice,
even the piano seems to dig it.
no explantions just tweak it...

[quote="Urs"]Any user manual for ZRev would start with these words:
Before tweaking any knob, google for "comb allpass filter", "feedback delay network", "jot householder matrix", "schroeder moorer reverb"
Thank you Urs for pointing the way. I too have found myself drawn to impressive abilities of the runic Zrev. Here is a link that may be of interest to those with an inclination towards mathematics. This chapter is part of an interesting tutorial that also covers additive synthesis, FM, and signal processing, albeit not from a musician's perspective, but much to ponder.

I googled those words anyway - the following looks like quite a simple "primer" before looking at all the rest: http://www.music.mcgill.ca/~gary/614/week3/reverb.html
I tried all modes with several different "mutually prime values", but never managed to get rid of the ringing (after 4 hours trying) without resorting to deeper LFO modulation (which is too regular). I suspect that ZRev is still missing something important...
