Talk about a "delayed response". 16 months after I asked the original question! 16 months of cluelessness, not knowing if there WAS a plan to support IK stuff. A short little "yes we are working on it" would have been niceRecordingArts wrote:I think that could be a yes
but it does prove that "watch this topic" here at KVR has no time limit
anyway, this is great news for Receptorites. Especially the sampletank-based instruments (MP, STron, SMoog), as they are great sounding and VERY easy on the CPU (not having to stream samples also saves mucho resouces and probably extends the life of the HD).

And by now you all know there is a new Receptor model, the TOTAL WORKSTATION RACK powered by SampleTank. It has the entire Total Workstation Bundle pre-installed and authorized... you can learn more about it on www.museresearch.com/twr
We're pleased to announce that all the IK software now works on Receptor, and there are some great opportunities available to go along with this new announcement, like:
1. ALL RECEPTOR CUSTOMERS ARE NOW CONSIDERED IK CUSTOMERS AND QUALIFY FOR SPECIAL CROSSGRADE PRICING TO ANY / ALL IK MULTIMEDIA SOFTWARE. The details will be posted on the plugorama website in the next day or so...
2. ALL IK CUSTOMERS QUALIFY FOR SPECIAL PRICING ON THE TOTAL WORKSTATION RACK!!
3. You can add the Total Workstation Bundle to any Receptor you order, including the Receptor with Komplete Inside... NOW we're talking about some SERIOUS music power!
You can purchase any upgrade/crossgrade software or the TWR Receptor from the plugorama website... but please give Ben a couple of days to get it all up there...
Cheers

Hi. Congrats on the WorkStation Rack. Does the Somp I/O work with it, or is there plans to make it work? Thanks

I don't know really... from what I understand, the Stomp IO is a standalone system that is running Amplitube... however I do know that Receptor has extensive MIDI programmability, and several guitarists use it with various MIDI controller systems for guitar. We'll have to check it out and let you know if the Stomp IO works with it...
Cheers
