Damn, DLed ok, worked in standalone kinda allright. Killed EXT, Didnt work in SX3, I even fired up my good ol copy of FL studio5 with no luck.

So I sampled almost every patch!

The ones I liked anyway. so it looks like I'll be able to get 4 instances running no probs

So any track I make with the samples is still technically Synthmaster isn't it?
30secs is a bit short tho.

What version of EXT are you using? Are you running it as a host, or as a VSTi?

Someone else also mentioned about EXT crashing with SM, I will try to look into this issue this weekend,

I'm using the latest 1.4 update.
I dont know why FL or SX didnt work, but I will look in to this after work tonight.

Glad that samples are ok (I was going to have to bounce a couple tracks to get 4 instances anyway)
It kind of limits my creativity though. But thats cool,
I'll get it sorted.

It crashes my eXT (1.4) too, about 10 times in a row. At first only when I added a second instance, but right now everytime I hit the play button. I'm not going to try other hosts, because I don't use those for MIDI anyway.

There are some nice presets and sounds, but it's not worth the hassle for me :s. Good luck to those who persist, I look forward to hearing the demos.

Cant get it working properly with Renoise 1.8. It shows up alright and it doesn't crash, but the preset-menu in the left side isn't showing so there's no presets...?

Until that issue has been resolved, there's still a workaround to change presets: Using SynthMaster preset browser. Just right click, and select Load->Preset, which will show you a categorized list of all SynthMaster presets.

Apparently they are. So I don't get it: do you want LESS than 30sec pieces or MORE than 30sec pieces? You're giving away NFR licences to the first 10 admissions, and then free full versions for the competition?

Yes they are, because so far we have 7 participants.

The rule was: send us a simple demo less than 30 secs made with SM FREE to show your interest, and you'll receive your NFR. In return, we'll expect a demo song made with SM Standart by the end of the month.
