There is no point with numbers here.. the engine is 100% program dependant so..

This one I tried to get equal performance at higher rate but gave up and locked the core to 44.1khz.. :roll:

//Daniel :)
what do you mean? I'm sorry I don't quite follow. do you mean the saturated driver or the compressor?

:bang: friggin EVERY time! :lol:

Post

I think I forgot to compensate samplerate on Saturated driver...

This new one I locked the core to 44.1khz but there is a difference in sound in the hi end
anyway..

If you look in an editor the hi end peaks are not as squashed at 192khz compared to 44.1khz...

I understood it to begin with (and deemed it useless), just not your compulsive obsession on why it should be absolutely everywhere. and don't bother trying to explain it. last time it took you 4 pages and it still made no sense. :hihi:

thanks. I thought I already heard it, but had to double check.

And I'm talking about the TLs-2095-LA now.. NOT the saturated driver.

what you fail to comprehend (again) is that it's just a technique among others, just a preference. I still HEAVILY disagree with your reasoning behind it (why it apparently should be everywhere), and that it happens in analogue gain staging when it clearly doesn't most of the time.

and even when it does it's actually just simple transformer or fet clipper (ie. waveshaper with possible pre and de-emphasis characteristics). - which this plugin features by the way (just not a brickwall which is a completely digital concept). :wink:
