yeah, talk about annoying.
I used to think the internet was going to unite mankind. Now I realize the internet is perhaps mankinds greatest wasteland of bickering, greed, and narrow minds. " And we all shine on, " Imagine that.

The KVR bullseye looks way cooler with a black background.
One thing to note, if you guys start putting those little pop up "Vibrant Ad" things on key words in news items like they have over at Sonicstate, I will divorce you.

(in case the coder finds this thread
)
One "what? O.o"-thing.. Please move all styles to classes in css? All those span -tags with both class and style.. Use multiple classes..
And while you're at there, add some classes for those "platform icons". The amount of those is overwhelming. If they were tagged with classes one could do a nice jquery -oneliner to remove them (:
(granted, one could do it already but $(".iconosx").hide() is the way to go...)
IIRC there's no "<br clear="all"/>" in any XHTML's flavours. That should be <br style="clear: both"/>. Or better yet, make it a class.. (There's other ways doing float clearing but the br -one is the safest one i think..)

I like it! Good work.

Cool! I think it's looking quite good, now that the latest posts are back up. This is really very impressive web programming; great job.
It's too bad there's that dead area on the far right...

Mmmm...no, can't say I like it. In terms of usability the huge area given over to "news" (product promos) gets in the way, and where is the last 50 posts link? And what's with the receptor column on the far right? This layout is different, but not an improvement.

latest posts still pushed to the bottom left underneath everything here, along with member bar (firefox. 1280x960) style is nice, though. I'm sure it will all be sorted shortly after a bit o' tinkering.

Maybe clear your file cache? It might be using an old stylesheet.ouroboros wrote:latest posts still pushed to the bottom left underneath everything here, along with member bar (firefox. 1280x960) style is nice, though. I'm sure it will all be sorted shortly after a bit o' tinkering.

no go but a good step. I'm sure it will shake out. Just trying to leave some data for Ben, though he's probably aware.

Hey, do you know if anyone's ever entertained the idea of being able to switch the colour of KVR? I notice you can do that with a lot of portal technologies these days, and as loyal as I am to the Royal Blue, it would be exciting to be able to change the colour, after all these years. And so my boss doesn't know I'm looking at the same site (for 8 hours/day!
)
Just a thought.
