Can an XY be made into a vector mixer?

Hi Etienne,
I thought about it a bit and came up with a method that uses one Mix and two ModMaps (and 2 LFOs for knobs to turn). It has more even volume but consumes more modulators. I've updated the original zip file.

Hope that inspires you to tweak further. Try playing with the shape of the ModMaps (I used linear ramps) or the actual waveforms to see if you discover different fun areas.
And for what it's worth, the Z3 thread has a post from Urs showing a renewed interest in something vector-like:
