Why all the gray? I don't like gray, especially when it could be used to something more important like showing the forum texts...

I find the top area of the page too big as well. When reading the forum I'm always forced to scroll down because of it.

works fine other than the fact it needs perhaps an option to select the layout of elements. that is quite a lot of code but it shouldnt be too much.

there is a lot of redundant stuff on the layout as well like the prev - next topic links.

I like the new design, but I don't like the layout. The google ad at the right REALLY gets in the way. Might it be an option to take it out, expand the forum to fill the space that was previously used by it, then place the Google Ad in the left or right in the gray space?

Ben, if you did that, then it'd be (almost) perfect.

EDIT: Let's not be too hard on Ben, I'm sure he's working hard.

No it's not! Now the other texts in KVR (and ALL of the texts in ALL the other interweb sites) are too small!! Like the window I'm now typing in. Tiny font size compared to what it renders to when I hit the Submit button (which is rather small in comparison too)

I repeat: the font size of message bodies is too large!

I frankly did prefer it when the forum posts were centered on screen.

I like the new forum.. I only wish it could look better.. e.g. the Quick Reply box..

If the posts automatically stretched wider after the latest posts and adverts finish, it would help alleviate the really ugly and useless grey space to the right.

Also, a big +1 on Nuffink's "your posts" request, it's always the first place I go when jumping on the forum.
