May have found a small bug or it might just be me but control clicking on the fine and semi knobs sets them all the way to the left rather than centring them as expected. Also shift clicking on the semi knobs seems to have no effect.

If you don't have the skins in the right place (I didn't take them out of the update folder ) and click on the skin button, nothing happens. You then carry merrily on and when you click on the about button, it stays on the screen.

ok that might be, but I have a report for full crash in Cakewalk P5, s$i&!

yes, it's missing the deafult value in skin.xml

search "default" with NotePad in skin.xml and you'll see

1.704 was crashing Cantabile Free.

sorry I can't reproduce the crash here, it seems to play fine in Cantabile,
both XP SP3 and Vista SP1

Hmm. I re-pulled the DLL from the zip download and Cantabile's happy now, but Sonar7P is being flaky about scanning it (this happened before I replaced the DLL as well). Project 5V2.5 found it just fine. This is all on Vista (Home Premium).

I'll mess with it more tomorrow ... I did get it to work in all three hosts, just not as directly as I wanted.

This was an upgrade (from 1.2.0.2), although I renamed the old DLL with a different suffix so there wouldn't be a conflict, and installed 1.7 into a new directory, and 1.704 over top of that.

I haven't tried it in FLS or EXT yet. It may be I've just hit something squirrelly in my setup.

Hey, I've been busy so I have a question...

you know the "demo" plug-in you sent me? is that really a demo?
I overwrote my modelonia VST with it... (I still have the last version backed-up and encrypted, btw, so it's no problem)

I don't know what to think... are you sure you sent me the right file?
Aside from the very, very clearly written new install instructions (we all thank you for that! even I had trouble sometimes) I think it's suspiciously stable for it really to be a beta update thing to test. Sorry if all that's unclear, I'm just confused as to what I should do with it? Keep it as is and report a bug if i find one? It doesn't seem to be demo-ing out on me or anything.

The *upgrade* install has failed here (in FL Studio 5) it says it is missing the skin.xml file from my C drive's Documents & Settings something something, but there is no folder related to Modelonia there for it to be missing from to begin with. Help ?

please download the 1.7.0.6 upgrade, I have checked it in FL Studio and it works,
also please read the instructions inside the zip.
BTW you have XP or Vista?

----I'm running WinXP, and I downloaded the 1.7.0.6 upgrade about an hour ago or so, and copied the skin folder into the data folder as instructed. But that is not where it is looking for it, it's off looking in the Documents & Settings folder for the skin according to the error that pops up on the screen.

Added : Is there not going to just be a full install file for the updated Modelonia ? It just seems like that would be easiest for us, and for you.
