I've just installed Cubase Studio 4 and Sylenth opens as a VST but won't make any noise. It doesn't hang Cubase though oddly.

Yes, that confirms even more that it is the same bug. It only happens on very few Windows pc's. This is fixed with the upcoming update!

Cubase doesn't crash because it catches the error. So the plugin crashes, but Cubase doesn't. If it didn't catch the error it would crash just like FL on your pc.

Well i'm waiting with baited breath. I'm ready to buy my final VST synth to go with Predator and Gladiator!
