Indeed it is. That's strange- maybe because of the keyboard?

Yes but the plugin itself is in effects.

Is there any way to tell KORE to change how it appears? (how does it determine this anyway?)

Huh? - I had a weird bug in FilterscapeVA today which showed up as an effect in SX.

I'll investigatre this. Let me know if you have further findings on the issue

P.S.: As a background info, I'm in the process of adding a new global "knowledge component" to all my plugins to help with RTAS and installer size. In VST, this component determins the actual plugin, type, UniqueID, process layout from its *name* while the binary code is 100% identical. I.e. Zebra2, Zebralette and ZRev are 100% identical in code. The installer just creates copies of the same thing and names them accordingly. This way I save... not only donwload bandwidth... but *so* much time...

Isn't a knob way thicker than it is longer?

O.K., I tried the new beta of MFM2 regarding the sync issue I described
earlier, using MFM2 inside Kore2 within Cubase 4.5

I've gone through a bunch of the factory presets, comparing
it via A/B comparison against another MFM2 instance (not loaded
into Kore2).
It still has this issue, seems to effect all presets with the
"Restart Lfo" setting set to "Start each bar" or the like.
(There are some in the "Simon B" folder for example, with the
"Simple reverse 1" preset of the additionally found soundset
"Justin Timewarp" it's especially obvious)

Those set to "free" or "gate" seem to be o.k.

Has someone tried MFM2 inside Kore2 in another host application ?
Do you also encounter this problem in your host ?
Urs - any info you can give about it ?

Thanks

I've actually observed something weird today, when hosts properly report a tempo but then don't update the beatcounter accordingly, i.e. beatcounter and tempo don't fit. Seems like this wasn't a problem long time ago but now it is, after streamlining that code region. Will see what I can do here...

Here's a build for Windows that might fix sync problems with hosts that do not have a timeline but still support timing info:

Hi Urs,

I'm really impressed, you're faster than an arrow :-)

This latest build did the trick, haven't gone thru all
the patches, but the ones I have auditioned, this looks
good so far.
Might be worth to look at in your other plugins also...

I found another one, you might also check...
(MFM2 used in Cubase, with or without Kore)
There is some inconsistent behaviour with the CPU amount,
when a preset uses the "sideband" effect.
Sometimes a preset uses, say 30 %, after switching the effects,
and coming back to the "sideband" effect oder deactivating/activating
the plug-in in Cubase, it goes down to 5 %.
Maybe this also causes the CPU Spikes, others have reported ?
(and I also occasionally encountered)

So far, thanks alot

Cheers
