Hey sink, one question : are there presets for each uhbik, or only for some ? As to my eyes it seems that in some Zip files there are only those which were already included ?

There are presets for all Uhbiks. Only a few for some of them (Uhbik-Q), a dozen for some others (like the Flanger).

As to my eyes it seems that in some Zip files there are only those which were already included ?

Mhhh...I think there are only mine. (except if i made any mistake ? If so, please let me know)
I think factory presets should be on a separate folder (i created mine using RC1, where no preset where available at all).
But i sent mine to Urs a few days before official release, so maybe he included some of them ? (as i filled the preset form, it should be easy to check in the author's name).

Maybe Urs can help here. For example for the Uhbik-D I have 5 files in your Zip File, which are the 5 that come with Uhbik-D and which are located in the root folder, not factory folder. They have u-he as author.
Probably he included yours

Edit : On the Flanger, the archive is ok, lots of presets

I hope i didn't make a mistake : i must i haven't played a lot with the delay, and remember to have made only very few presets for it. I have made much more presets for the flanger, and some for Runciter, the phaser, etc.
In fact, i checked for 3 or 4 fx, to be sure that the factory presets were indeed in their own folder, and then i copied all the presets left in the root plugin preset folder, so they should all be mine, as when i dled RC1, all the presets were blank.
It should be easy to check with author's name, but please if anything wrong occurs (like a preset which i obviously didn't make is in my zip file), please let me know.

Btw, i hope you like the presets ?

Ok... let's see...

The original factory presets are all by Tasmodia, with some Phaser presets by aMUSEd. I made a couple by myself which I put on top level. These are merely templates or demonstrations of certain aspects (i.e. classical ping pong delay, vibrato with the flanger, groove tremolo and gating fx with the tremolo).

I did not want to clutter the things with too many presets. Instead I will collect further presets and make them downloadable on the website.

Yes there are definitely some of mine mixed up with your P presets

Ok, the zip file has been updated. Sorry about that.
I cleared every presets which were not mine (most were, but some weren't and didn't checked them all for each Uhbiks).

I guess the reason for a factory folder and a top level one is so there area few general presets available in the drop down at startup to showcase the plugin.

A question regarding the upcoming Uhbik-X and presets:

Is it possible to e.g. control parameters of several Uhbik plugins with the note number, apply some scripting logic to it and store the result as a Uhbik-X preset? (Aren't all those U-he plugins scriptable under the hood?)

A related question: I tried to build some interesting presets by using Uhbik-F (the flanger) as a pitch generator by using the delay and feedback parameters.
Setup:
* a synth that outputs a simple saw-like sound without reacting to the note pitch
* as Uhbik-X is not yet available I loaded Uhbik-F in Bidule and modulated the delay value depending on the note pitch (see below)
* feedback in Uhbik-F is (almost) fully turned to the right

Question to the math gurus:
I experimented with naive approaches like 5 - (10 * noteNumber) for the delay modulation in order to get the sound play more or less in tune - in fact less would be a more appropriate description... How do I have to calculate the proper modulation value for delay from the note number in order to get something that plays in tune?

Here you can go and suck some 25 fresh presets for Uhbik-P only (for the moment). All for free, from the first to the latest. I will see the other modules later and will cook some other czech cooking...

These effects are not properly spectacular, but I enjoyed listening to them with several of my sounds, I hope some of you too.

If You will find them useful, I will prepare some other: Uhbiks are sonically very rich...

Ah, Urs, You wrote somewhere, that the limitation of the demo are some cracklings each two minutes... I think, I must have a special copy for masochists, or tool for the object of chinese tortures: my crackle cliks claw my ears each 30 seconds!!!

Another folder named "Flan & chocolat" with 32 presets for Uhbik-F is in your disposition at my apple-warehouse... made some days ago, I revisited them yesterday and placed here for your pleasures.

Like You will see, the titles of these presets are very expressive: betaflangeon, compoflangeon, cytoflangeon, dodecaflangeon, ectoflangeon, factoflangeon, and so one...

Of course, put the entire folder somewhere in the Presets folder "Uhbik-F", but is necessary to precise it?

I have the same demo too ....

On the other hand, the only thing that I really regret is GUI size ...too large even if they are beautiful.
A smaller GUI version make me very happy ....
