Hmm.. the other thread (in Hardware) seems to have just 'disappeared' without any explanation. So NI has only to ask and KVR happily obliges then?

This is easy. Did you see the KvR frontpage during the last weeks? Price question: Who is Stephan and who is Daniel? This is the real world after all.hakey wrote:Hmm.. the other thread (in Hardware) seems to have just 'disappeared' without any explanation. So NI has only to ask and KVR happily obliges then?

Ben kind of runs the place and can make whatever decision he sees fit. I'm sure the majority of the folks here won't get their panties in a bunch over it so it was pretty easy. He's not covering up the Watergate scandal or anything here, folks.hakey wrote:Hmm.. the other thread (in Hardware) seems to have just 'disappeared' without any explanation. I believe every thread should devolve into character attacks and witch-burning. It really helps the discussion.

I was the OP here, just wanted to apologize if any trouble was caused. I got my copy of EM legitimately and a whole lot of other musicians & producers in my area did as well, so I had no reason to assume there was a problem in telling people about its contents.

I don't think anyone's blaming you for anything zircon. You have done nothing wrong. All you did was report what was in the legitimate press.
Frankly, I'm surprised that NI is taking a stand with only 24 hours to go. They had to have known that the print media wasn't going to align perfectly with NAMM.
The prudent thing for them to do would have been to go with a 'teaser' in the first print ad runs that would have coincided with the official announcement. But once the barn door is open, it is VERY hard to get the horses back.

Is it a problem for you if it'll have a new name and a regular NI typo in that name?ericj23 wrote:i hope they release it with inbuilt sample memory, and the ability to resample so that you can take it out live without a computerLance wrote:Mushy Mushy wrote:I hope NI release a new version of Kore with an inbuilt drum pad.....
I thought Mushy Mushy was ironic referring to the leaked infos.
