exact

i only waiting the synthedit v1.1 (so some year again)
before submit my toys to instrument/effect forum
and database, due to the SE v1.0 bugs.
I prefer submit here because there is some SE colleague
and cool guys and not too much SE racist.

PHAZTRONIC updated, and totally rebuilt.
Now, more "real" HW sound.

- added a second LFO on request
- added an audio tracking on request
- added SAND parameter (an elegant name to say NOISE

)

When opening the plugin or changing stages, it makes awful loud clicks and noises !

strange, not here.

in some case, especially when feedback is on, it could
generate some louder sound. But i can add a short mute
when changing preset if you want it.

@WOK : I've updated PHAZTRONIC with a quick fade out/in when changing
preset. I've not the "awful loud clicks", so i'm not sure this small modification solve your problem because i can not check it.

Still the same problem; when inserting the plugin in Reaper or Energyxt, it makes a short squeech noise (making Reaper mute). Then when turning the "stages" knob up, makes that loud noise again. Later it seem not to happen anymore, but that at the beginning might be enough to blow some speakers...

I hereby confirm the loud pop phenomenon as per previous replies.

Load it after a synth, make sure the synth keeps playing. Switch patches on the phaser. Snap crackle pop Rice Krispies.

I believe this plugin is part of a nutritious breakfast.

Edit: I tried the new upload, partially fixed. Now when I first load it in vsthost it makes a loud noise, I switch patches and it's insanely loud, then it works fine. Now I can switch patches while playing. But initially it's rough.

i will try tomorrow another modification by setting more time to the mute
+ an automatic feedback off when changing presets and stages.

PHAZTRONIC updated,
another attempt to fix the noise transition :
when preset changed the filter is temporary by-passed,
when changing stages too, but there is a default to know,
when the stage knob is pressed the mute is maintained.
So this version is only to check/validate the idea.

I think the "mute" is not a real solution - there must be something like "DC-Voltage" on the audio line or one of the modules has problems with wrong signals (or denormal) what causes the noise
