Eric
I am not too sure of the sound, but is it lots of flangers in series.

It's pretty cool, I don't use phasers though.

There is 16 cascaded allpass filter inside (CK).
"Fast" modulation can provide flange effect especially combined
with the feedback linked i think.
Maybe the range domain is...out of range!
In fact Flange and Phase Shift (phaser) seems very similar.

I've started to download some free phasers to check and compare.
(TAL & Smartelectronix)<--- another to suggest ?

Mine is based on some HW guitar effect i've listen
on a clean/active blade rh4.(mxr90, moogerfooger, roland )

Information/Suggestion welcome, i'll be a pleasure
to dig more :)

hi, Eric
Phasers and flangers are indeed not my weapons of choice, but here and there i like to use some.
kjaerhus classic series is ok, very smooth,
Schwa's Oligarch phaser is great,
Uhe's Uhbik-F and Uhbik-P too ;
Bram's SupaPhaser is nasty ;)

thank's sinkmusic, i will try it.

i can't do it

in the 80's i had this beat up novelty sized GIANT maestro phaser pedal. i sold it in 1994 because it was so noisy

it was cool. the knobs (rotary dials) were called things like "balls."

check chrome/damon edge ("armageddon"), or that 70s "afternoon delight" for analog phasers.

when they crest, something happens in the analog (noise to signal??) that is NOT happening in s/w. it must be s/n because all the old phasers dissolve into noise when they crest.

sometimes new phasers would have "something more than the last one" and i'd get excited, only to discover the real extent of my hope shortly thereafter.

will kids today ever know what real phasers sound like? (sorry - it's probably a cool effect, and "is" real phasing.. drop some acid and spend a week with a MAESTRO  you'll appreciate what i mean :) )

i... i... don't want to talk about it any more
you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

but yeah.. totally forget about checking vs. software phasers.

if you need to check all that bad, i'll hook you up with some chrome so you can know the real sound.

xoxos, i agree noise is an important part of phasing,
my 1st experiment had a "noise injector" but i've removed
it because not satisfied by the sound, i will refined
this feature.

The band you talking ?

kjaerhus classic series : closer to HW FX, my favorite
Schwa's Oligarch : demo not working here
Uhe's Uhbik-F and Uhbik-P : not tested
Bram's SupaPhaser : interesting, but something missing too
TAL Phaser : i don't like it (but i like other TAL's VST!)

missing something to my project, i'm not sure about the exact word
maybe "sweep/stone" color. On the road again :)

Thanks Eric :D

ah - here - the whole track is damon's phaser

that's what phasers should sound like for kids today :) you hear those crests where it dissolves.
