Which path did you write in Mulab.txt then?

Besides this, i would like to investigate deeper why you don't see LooxPosh in the Skin chooser.

Would you have some bits of time to make special log files for me?
If yes, then lets do this via email.
Quite simple setup actually: Two guitars into two different inputs of my audio interface. Each input feeds a seperate instance of an ampsim. The sequencer plays some drums to jam along.
If only one rack can be monitored at a given time, that simple setup is not possible. Bummer.
What you could do with MU.LAB 2.5.x is this:

* Put the two guitars into the two mono inputs.
* In the MPA (F2) attach a Stereo Splitter to the audio input, so you have the two guitars as two separate mono signals.
* Connect a Rack to guitar 1 signal and a rack to guitar 2 signal.
* In these racks you can put plugin effects as you please, tweak the volumes, panning etc...
* Now connect those racks to the audio output.

Now you should be able to hear the two guitars at the same time, while you can still route them thru different plugins.
Is there a way to set up what output pairs the master uses? I have 8 Stereo outputs and MuLabs chose the wrong one.
No, currently MU.LAB defaults to the first stereo output.
Will be more flexible in a future version.

So you have installed LooxPosh and you can select it via MU.LAB -> File menu -> "Choose Skin", right?

yeah but it was strange about that...
It didn't work to begin with.

Then I put the "looxposh" folder into the "looxphat" folder because I hadn't understood what you meant and obviously it didn't work either.

Put the "looxposh" folder back into the Graphics folder as before and now it works :? hehe. :)

Wrote an e-mail about the skin issue.

The Stereo Splitter hint works. Thanks.
So this may be a workaround in order for me to make some use of Mulab when teaching.
That you cannot choose the output pair is a real bummer though.

All in all, the whole input and output routing and monitoring must be there before I can seriously consider Mulab for my work. Still I have a very good gut feeling about this project.

So, where exactely is the I/O routing and monitoring on your To-Do list?

With MU.LAB 2.5.9 you'll be able to tell the audio output to which device output it should send.

This means it makes sense to create multiple MU.LAB outputs, each going to another device output, for example to create monitor mixes.

MU.LAB 2.5.9 will be released one of these days.
