But of course. It'll be the "Z2 Classic" skin or so...sinzero wrote:I hope the current default UI colors will be available, they go perfect with the new Reaper 3 UI
Bad luck btw. - I have just received confirmation that a certain crash bug is still in the latest beta. I thought it was fixed. So I don't think I can post it

I'm not overly impressed with the design work on that one, to be honest.
The shading and 3D work looks a bit amateurish.
It looks too much like standard-Photoshop-layer-FX-and-change-some-numbers.
Sorry, only my opinion.

Fair enough, but once you see the whole picture and compare it to older skins of Zebra (or any skin of any softsynth I know FWIW), you'll probably notice a significant difference.spaceman wrote:Sorry, only my opinion.
There'll be room for improvements, but I won't torture myself by modeling each and every module in Modo/C4D

I'll reserve judgement until I see the finished article in it's full glory.

I doubt that 3D models would improve the look much but I could give it a try if you want.Urs wrote: There'll be room for improvements, but I won't torture myself by modeling each and every module in Modo/C4D![]()
And there are probably many others that would volunteer to help out.
(Although I personally prefer a clear stylized look instead of something "photo realistic")

3D doesn't have to mean photo realistic. When I said 3D I meant the suggestions of depth created by using shadows and bevels and borders. It's the way those techniques are used on the GUI that looks far from professional.
Below is a screen shot of part of a Reaper skin no less, compared to the Zebra skin. The Reaper skin has '3D' done right.

Do a search in the skin forum on reaper.fm. There's only a link to it in some other thread.

I like it! I hope there will be a gray/orange coloured scheme, too!
