I can confirm this crash report as it's happenning on my HP pavilion running Vista.

Snow Leopard 10.6.8/Pro Tools 8.0.5/Digi 002R

Can confirm the crash if you click in an empty display in the waves area.

If you select a waveform and press "create", Synthmaster doesn't crash though. But sometimes I got a crash then when after this I created a morph sequence. I don't get a crash with an error-screen, but Synthmaster "hangs up" and in the taskmanager I see 2 synthmaster entries (program doesn't react or how it is called in english - in german it's "keine Rückmeldung"). cpu is at 100%. I can delete that process in taskmanager and everything works again.

One time after creating an own random preset and then in the waves window a morph sequence, I got a crash. After that one each time starting Synthmaster again got me an immediate crash, with an error message. So I couldn't restart Synthmster and find out what's wrong... This is a vague bug and I just post it in case others might try to reproduce it.
I had to restart Windows, which took ages in this case. In the task manager under "processes" I saw that synthmaster was NOT running in the background or something.

Hmm...

I get no noises though after "exit Synthmaster" here.

AMD AthlonXP3000+, Windows XP home, m-audio2496. I have to go now,but will try to reproduce this more nasty bug later to maybe tell more details.

hi

been using synthmaster standalone since last night.. it's very unstable on my system.

adsr final level knob - turning this up sustaines the notes and synthmaster crashes or i lose my audio on the right channel prompting me to restart the application.

same problem as other users with the wavetable...

also i have to restart my daw in order to use synthmaster after crash...
here's a screenshot of the message i get everytime i get a crash..this is mostly due to moving the knob final level on adsr 1

Sorry - I should have done it here first, not by email.

There's a problem with changing buffer settings and engine quality that crashes the synth. Changing the buffer setting to large and altering synth quality produces a crash. The synth still plays, but only a sharp pitched noise, and stops responding to any gui input.

I've also found that using 96 sampling rate gives a very distorted sound. even with the inital patch

...just have to say I LOOOOVE the concept - the envelopes and the many little uncommon options you find on this synth. I truly can't wait for it to be done.

Also - the synth is outputting sound as I'm typing this message - if keyboard input is selected.

AMD Phenom II 940
WinXP Pro SP3
3G Ram
ASUS MOBO/ VIA1708S 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC - this is shitty and will be changing as soon as they get me my 1212m. I've had alot of problems with this card.

yeah the PC keyboard input is cool for me considering my midi is broken but as soon as i manipulate the interface i get the windows "donk" sound whenever i press the key. First impressions are good though I'm definitely liking the sound. I've found some other visual bugs; the detune knob in the wavetable panel doesn't display correctly, and if you move the window around so that it partially goes off of the screen some of the title text gets clipped and repeats sections.
In the future there will be robots!

Hi folks,

Just release a new version of SynthMaster 2.0, which includes the VSTi version as well

NOTE FOR VSTI: If you're gonna move the SynthMaster.dll to your VSTPlugins folder, make sure you move all the subfolders as well, otherwise SynthMaster wont work.

I did some basic tests using Reaper, and looks like the VSTi works OK at 44.1k sampling rate. Tomorrow I'm gonna be testing at 88.2/96.0k to see if there are any bugs for those rates.

It's 1 am on this side of the world, so I've got to go :D

Tried the Synthmaster.dll in Fl 8 and got "Division by Zero" error and no loading + FL crash.

Just tryin out the new 7/13/2009 standalone and it seems much less stable than the first one I had.

... mind you I'm still at this point only tinkering with the initial settings on the main page and getting to know how the modules interact; basically playing with the output chart before trying any modulation, patching etc... and all mainly on Layer 1.

EDIT: There was a whole bunch of stuff i had written here that I'll have to check again tomorrow

The one thing I can leave is that turning off all OSC outputs leaves a tone played with controller input. But once an osc on Layer 1 AND layer 2 is active then the tone stops playing. Going from all oscs OFF, activate layer 1 osc leaving Layer 2 active (not bypassed) means that Layer 1 output is normal but layer 2 still has this mono tone. But once you activate an osc onlayer 2 the tone stops.
