...ok, here's a good reason for the pre-installed versions:

the Receptor, used by a Mac user...actually, i found out about the Receptor on the Zebra-site first, and bought it especially to run (several instances of) Zebra on it...

...if that is not the reason, i dont know...ah, and btw.: i am still on a Mac - uh - only... :hihi:

bump!

Any updates on this?

I'm probably going to use an NT Link to move the u-he folder to my audio-programs hard drive, so it's not the end of the world, but it is a pain.

I know Urs is a busy guy, but I'd like to see something done about this (though I'm looking forward to Uhbik-X also) 8)

Vas is dis? A new Uhbik? :-o

Played with G for a while, sounds cool, made some really creepy noises with it.
Also, my MIDI controller spontaneously started working with Windows7x64. I am going to credit Uhbik for this momentous turn of events, even though I know the correlation doesn't prove causation, and in fact has probably nothing to do with it. But yay!

This is just what I was hoping for, simple, portable, works perfectly with no hassles from external drives etc. I'm going to start testing these, work fine in Presonus Studio 1 demo and Cubase 5 so far.
