I received the new soundbank from Rob yesterday evening. Many thanks to Rob. :D

I will check the patches and give a review later. My first impression of a few patches i tested so far is excellent.

PS: For me Sylenth1 is still a kind of "reference" for analog sound in softsynths. Sometimes i forget it's software. The sound of the upcoming Synth Squad will be compared to this.

Very good soundbank!
All is top notch but I really like the basses, and I'm very fond of the pads aswell.
I also like that you have used the modwheel and other modulations on almost every patch in this bank, great work.
Flavours of Lime - Tasty gui design for vst plugins.

Im away for a while working on other music projects so im using my laptop to post here but maybe i'll get to finish that Tech House/Minimal soundset for Sylenth sometime soon that i started but never finished :)
I'll post any updates here though should i make any more progress.

Today i found time to test all patches of Volume 3. It may sound "boring" but Rob made another excellent soundbank for Sylenth1. My favorites are the ARPs, Leads and Pads. It's a good mixture of modern sounds and "bread & butter" type of sounds.
My favorite patches are more "basic" patches like "Gypsy Lead" or "Analog Pad".

The patches of the bank are again very usable (only few "expererimental" patches). If you combine Volume 3 with Volumes 1 + 2 (330+ patches) almost everything is possible, not "only" dance music.

As a result Rob Lee's soundbanks could be highly recommended to any Sylenth1 user also because they have a reasonable price (bundles available).
If you want to do dance/trance music those banks are a must have. :D

Hi Martin

Volume 1 consisted of 192 presets
Volume 2 i added another 64 making up volumes 1 and 2 to a total of 256 (all one bank)
Volume 3 is 80 Brand new presets and 48 more made up of the best of the rest of volumes 1 and 2 :)

cheers

After testing the new Volume 3 soundbank (review above) i had another look at Volumes 1 + 2 an i can only highly recommend to purchase ALL three volumes of Rob's soundbank. That makes around 336 patches of all categories and tastes IMHO. Excellent mixture of "bread & butter" sounds and modern dance sounds. Together with the factory patches that's already an impressive collection not to speak about the many other available soundbanks and the free patch database.

So at this stage Sylenth1 is also suitable for "preset whores" (and it seems the release of new soundbanks is not ending...)
