Yeah the original price put me off but with the era/phrazor offer it's very tempting. It's like the sequencer my host never had. 8)

been playing with the demo.
great bit of kit. easy to get nice modulated patterns.

my 2cents worth.

as far as the random function goes, wouldnt it be better to let it cycle through once with the random pattern, then let that random pattern repeat until the user "re-randomises".

this way anything usable is instantly recordable, or saved as a preset to be used another time, rather than a fleeting "oh that bit was good"

love the ability to choose key and scale. a couple useful features would to be able to restrict the step sequencer to one octave to allow a "quick paint in" of notes for basslines, and perhaps once key and scale are selected, have the respective notes for that key / scale show up and to be able to mute/ restrict certain notes. again useful for quick "paint ins" and randomising for melodies.... in key..... yet using only selected notes in the key.

have separate tie function.

love it tho :D

I'm pretty impressed: you will be too if you try hooking it up to some monster like NI Massive or the Kore Player and dialling through the presets on both Eloquence and the outside synths. This is capable of some serious sequence work...nice goin', Sugar Bytes.

+1 to hooking it up to Unique and/or Helix.

I'm waiting to get an ERA owners' offer in the e-mail. Anyone seen one yet? What's their standard of proof?
I'm a Phrazor owner (also from SonicBytes like ERA) and got a upgrade offer
for Eloquence for 69 € :)
I didn't

I've been doing this with Twin2. It's like fuel injection for your synth. Love it! Live mode is genius... Can't wait to try it on other sources. +1 to the seperate tie function as well.

I had plans last night with coworkers, but once I got home and installed and used this thing I cancelled my plans due to a family emergancy and spent all night with Eloquence.... Just joking!

But its nice, at first I was like what??? It makes everything sound the same and really crappy then I realized its a synth too...Duh, I kinda forgot, so I shut that off and ta'da...Amazing!

This is exactly my view of it too as I wrote on page one of this thread. Randomization should be a feature to create a randomized variation which can be played over and over until the user chooses to perform another randomize. A version you treat as a normal version, which you can copy, paste modify etc.

This sequencer is simply fantastic! I tried out the demo early this morning, and had a difficult time tearing myself away to go to work. I'm ordering a copy tonight for sure!

Now you guys see the true power of this plugin? Try putting an arpeggiator before Eloquence. Life is good! - Orbit-50
