Yes, sorry, I misread that thread. Maybe I was just looking for something to reinforce my own biases, but I thought that was referring to some arp bugs in 2.5, not pre-existing arp bugs (someone did report a 2.5 arp bug, didn't they? but it did get fixed I think).

Yes, whatever I may feel about when to upgrade, that shouldn't affect the choice for the competition. I don't want to hold everyone else up.
