Hey guys, so first "my pleasure" ;). And there will be some percussion package soon ;), hopefully :D.

Now to the downloads, so
1) You can download either 5GB installer or "update and mtotaldrums". I recommend installer. Update is available only as executable. Next updates will be available via update manager too.

2) The download speed - our servers were kinda busy, when everyone was downloading, so maybe that's the problem. Anyway I recommend torrents and please guys if you have good connection let it seed for some time, so we can get over this "network-busy" time :). Thanks to everyone.

Thanks Vojtech, I downloaded the mtotaldrums 1.5gig file, and updated to version 3.0 - Have I missed anything....

I really don't want to download the complete installer unless I have to...

Do you get newer samples and updated files for MDrummer itself if you download the new 5GB installer?
Why is new 5GB installer recommended over updating to 3.0 and installing 1.5GB add-on?

Yes! That's the point. The new installer contains everything it needs, so you can use it on every computer you use, which is much better than installing the app, then a few updates and finally MTotalDrums.

I think I might understand.
I only use one computer for music.
Does 5GB installer = 3.0 update + add-on?
Is there any difference at all?

Back onto dl'ing this today after yesterdays forecast times of anywhere between 21 weeks & 3 years!! :shock:
Looking at 4 hours at present, 450 KB/s dl speed.
Will report back later today.

They should do approximately the same thing. The full installer is newer though, so maybe a few files may be slightly different. But really tiny minor differences.

Installed no problems.
Initial thoughts are; I really need to invest a little more time and explore this again!
It is not currently my "Go to" drum app (I probably do not have a single app for drums that is :oops: ) but, sounds :love: , functionality :love: and integration :love: all seem to be telling me it should be ...
