How long ago Did you get your Ztar.
Harvey Used to take years to put them together ! 6 months is awesome for him!
If it only takes 6 months , I might order another one.
If you have a ztar , Why order a YRG? Are they really only $100 !
What features are on your ztar?
Pls keep the thread about YRG.
Thanks.

As you can see, i'm order# 248 and that was over a month ago.

This company is NOT to be trusted. No doubt they are acquiring capital from distributor sales for overhead. I paid credit card. No cost before shipment. Do not use pay-pal or similar! They have your money , and you have nothing.

So it seems my single order takes months for them to process...slaggers!

Just wrote the company as follows;

Hello.

I ordered the YRG from "Inspired" Feb.7 2010 order#248.
I'm tired of reading "Processing" and not "Shipped" when viewing your order progress.
It seems to me you should have been able to sell over 248 YRGs by now.
I ordered quickly so as to get your product in a short amount of time, per suggestion by Kevin.
Would you pls write back to tell me you have corrected the problem and will ship immediately?

Thank you.

annode you didn't get charged? I ordered with my bank debit card, and i got charged immediately. Mine is still processing too. I'm order #327 i ordered feb 19th, we might not get ours till april, the news on the site said they have back orders till april.

Actually nm i just checked my bank statement and i don't see the charge there. It did say on my bank processing as soon as i ordered it, but it didn't charge me i guess cause now i don't see it.

I remember reading somewhere when ordering that credit won't be withdrawn until the order is shipped. But pay-pal and similar process right away.

Thanks for the info on back-order date! I'll check that out.

its on the news http://www.yourockguitar.com/category/latest_news/ titled "MIDI GUITAR and Mobile Rocking… blogs and comments" and at the bottom where it says

"P.S. Yes, tapping and sliding, and the whammy bar all work great in spite of rumors by people who have not played the You Rock Guitar. We will do more videos, but we're still recovering from back-to-back CES and NAMM shows and final production details. And yes, we are in production now. We will start shipping in February… currently backordered till April. Now let's get rocking!"

Unfortunately, Kevin wrote that Jan. 30th. Who knows how back-ordered and mixed up the company is now?

annode,

We are sold out of the first ones we got in, a lot had to go to testers, press, etc.

It shows processing because it is back-ordered. We have all the new revs in but you won't see a guitar for 6-8 weeks. very sorry about that. we will not charge your credit card until we do ship. You did "opt-in" for your order when they were &179, they are now $199. Up to you, but I'd stay in. The guys who are getting it are raving about it.

Let me know what you want me to do.

So it seems we have to accept the old 4-8 weeks delivery time.

Nice to see they are replying to some emails out there. They have totally blanked me. I've had several correspondance with Kevin going back to last year regarding the YRG and had promises of being able to ship anywhere internationally etc, etc, etc.

Could be a case of the manufacturing company in China isn't churning them out quick enough or they are having logistical problems.

Either way, it would be nice if they updated their website a little more often to let the customers know whats happening. Or maybe stopped sending useless messages on Twitter and used that to update its customers.

Yes, it is a shame. I guess they can't be blamed for promises broken if they don't make many. No company building working capital and in a structural phase.

Maybe you could have a US friend receive one for you and then send it to you himself.
I've done that once or twice for a net friend.

http://www.buyyourockguitar.com

There is a link at the bottom of the page that takes your to the following website:

http://www.djkit.com

I haven't contacted them yet, but they have a price of £199 including delivery.

That's good news...congrats!
I hope that goes through better then the offer Kevin made to me.
If I would do something for him...he said he would get me the guitar be fore the retail ones go out.
Well, that offer was 7 days ago with no word from him since.

I'm done hoping i'll get one before I have to relocate from here.
Hell, he made me the offer, not the other way 'round.

Hey does anyone know what happens if you break a string? I don't see any where to buy the strings on the website.
