At any rate, the demos seem nice, and I'm sure Access won't be happy to see this thing in its current incarnation (name, skin, Samples(?). It definately screams "Takedown Notice!

Really cool that he made the tables himself! I really want this thing to succeed. I think that in its current incarnation, it is a little too pricey, but with a little work and if he can avoid a lawsuit, it could turn out to be a pretty cool instrument. I freely admit I like the sounds from the demos. I wish him well with getting this thing going. With a little work on the web site, a few changes on the instrument (Linear instead of circular controls, improved filters, removing the extra GUI elements (so that only one GUI skin is in the DLL instead of multiple, selectable skins), oversampling, name change that doesn't encourage lawsuits, etc.) this could turn out to be quite decent.nix808 wrote:I assumed he had sampled a Virus too, but, no , he made the tables in cooledit. He is not calling it Access Virus anymore, but VirusB, I don't know how he'll go with that.

We're really interested in the synth you are creating. It has a LOT of potential. Thanks for listening to our feedback!

So far i was not able to get anything from that synth except a picture of the GUI so let's wait for the final version before we praise it like it's the best synth ever released. And yes, 100+ $ for a Synthedit synth is quite much, except if it's called OP-X Pro:audiojunkie wrote:Really cool that he made the tables himself! I really want this thing to succeed. P.S. What we need to do is get him to come to this site so that we can communicate with him what we'd like to see. (of course, we could end up scaring him off).![]()
