TFF wrote:Ah, okay. But still, could you say which have received the greatest boost?

I should have elaborated: by advantage, I meant CPU usage wise, as opposed to feature wise.
Well, that's really complicated. Anyway I'll give examples about what is much faster:
- crossovers (including linear-phase)
- upsampling
- smoothing (in oscillators, analyzers...)
- spectral based stuff (e.g. MSpectralDynamics)
- GUI rendering on Mac OS X
- filters (eqs for example)

From what I have measured, there was no improvement on MRhythmizer and MChorus (partially MMultiBandChorus). Great improvements are in MSpectralDynamics, MFreqShifter & multiband, MMultiBandDynamics...

Hey great news! Thanks for the sidechain-version (I was selling my license for the multiband dynamics but now I don't have to because of that).

Hi
Jus a big "thank you" for the updates :
- MUltraMaximizer is indeed less cpu hungry ;
- Multiband Convolution is excellent ! The ability to record an IR file is amazing, the various browser displays are great too, the master Eq and all the new or improved stuff (or even the stuff i didn't already noticed) makes this plugin a must-have
:D

You are most welcome!

A few comments about MRhytmizer/MMultibandRhytmizer

1) The only Style that allows me to clearly see which sequence is selected is the "Gray" Style ( the selected sequence is a different color from all other sequences). But I don't like that style. I use the "Colorful" style and it's very hard to see which sequence is selected when using this style. I click a sequence and it barely changes when selected. There's just some kind of lighter spotlight that lights up in the lower right corner of the sequence, but it's very faint. Very hard to see. Could you please make the change more drastic, or even better, add a way to change the color of a selected sequence? It's much easier to see which sequences are selected in Gross Beat. The sequence gets highlighted with glowy green or orange when it is selected.

2) When I am triggering several sequences at the same time using a MIDI Out in FL Studio, the sequences do not get highlighted in the Mrhytmizer GUI. Only one of them does (if I have three different sequences being triggered at the same time). All the sequences that are playing back at the same time get highlighted in Gross Beat, and this feature is very handy and allows me to see exactly which sequences are playing back at any given time. Please look into this.

3) Gross Beat has a feature to link slots together (e.g. I'd like to link the first sequence of the Time column to the first sequence of the Volume column to the first sequence of the Filter column). In this case, hitting C1 on the keyboard would play all three "1st sequences" at once. Currently I have to trigger each sequence separately as each one is assigned it's own note. Which leads me to:

4) Being able to change which note each sequence is assigned to. Regarding 3), If I could change the note then I could simply assign the first sequence of the Time, volume, and Filter columns to the same note so that when I hit that note, all three sequences are simultaneously triggered. Right now I have to paste 3 separate notes in the piano roll to trigger all three at the same time.

5) When I left click a sequence in Gross Beat and keep my finger down on the mouse and drag the mouse to a different sequence, the new sequence automatically gets selected as I scroll over it and the new graph gets displayed in the Gross Beat GUI. I cannot do this with Mrhytmizer. If I left click a sequence and hold the button down and hover over another sequence it does not get selected automatically. I have to click the new sequence to load it. This makes it a lot easier to "peruse" sequences in Gross Beat by simply hovering over them and quickly hearing the results. Less clicking = Faster work. Would you consider adding this feature please?

I bought Gross Beat 1 week before Mrhythmizer was provided for free to creative bundle owners. I own both and have been experimenting with both. In my opinion the points I made above are the major things that Gross Beat has over your plugins. If you add the features I brought up, I truely will be in Glitchiness heaven. There is no Multiband Gross Beat. Also Gross Beat has no modulators. Both programs have their own little quirks, and they are both very good. I thought I'd share my thoughts since I am using both.

Well, it's all about the styles, there just was no time to go over them yet. I'll add the "changing color" to to-do list.

But it's not possible to have multiple sequences run at the same moment, or what am I missing?

Well, it would be certainly possible, but I don't know where to place into the GUI. In my optinion it is very specific, and I wouldn't like to occupy much space with this to be honest.

Well, I'd rather just do some sync for that (from previous point). This wouldn't be very complicated, but it would be complicated to make it easy-to-use, so GUI again.

So it's just about selecting a sequency by hovering it instead of clicking on it? Well, I guess that could be done.

I can play a Time, Volume, and Filter sequence at the same time -edit- It basically comes down to being able to see which sequence is playing back in the GUI. Yes, please add this in the styles (A way to make a selected sequence a different color).

Well, it would be certainly possible, but I don't know where to place into the GUI. In my optinion it is very specific, and I wouldn't like to occupy much space with this to be honest.

On Gross Beat it's 1 tiny little button that you turn on and off. You could do the same. You click the 1st sequence in the Time column, hit this little link icon, and the 1st sequence of the Volume column and the first sequence of the filter column all get linked (the 1st sequence for all three columns link themselves). You trigger all three by hitting just one note. If I select the 7th sequence in the Time column and hit the link button, the 7th sequence of the Volume and Filter columns get linked. Etc..

So it's just about selecting a sequency by hovering it instead of clicking on it? Well, I guess that could be done.

Hovering while left clicking, yes. Check out Gross Beat (You still have the demo, no?)

Well Philippe, I agree, that the selected one should be more highlighted, but I don't think it can show all of them. It would be very confusing, as showing something in the list of "time sequences", that is related to volume sequences etc.... If you select time sequences, it should change the color of the selected time sequence, that's cool by me.

Well, I found out, that this one will actually be a little trouble, so I'm not promissing that, but I'm not giving up either :).

Hello Vojtech,

until today there are no User Presets updated to exchange and for the AutoEqualizer it doesn't work. I get an error all the time?!

Hi Swama, yes we haven't added any - they are in our database on the server, but first we need to process them and remove what is not "worth it". I'll check MAutoEqualizer, though with particularly this plugin, well, the presets are usually quite useless, since you will probably analyze/autoeq it anyway.

It's in MDrummer, I don't know if it's also standalone; for sure - sadly - not in freebies :(
