thanks for the bump.. eric (taotekid) sent me his patches for this some time ago.
i've updated the plingtar.dll file to include two of his instrument patches, and popped his tampura patch for the resonator in the file.
for the sitar, he was using a version of the resonator effect that was essentially four regular versions glued side by side. i don't know where that file is. probably in a year or five when i'm entirely used to people having huge processors and time to address it again, i'll do a more playable update.

i'd be surprised if there wasn't an existing effect for the lead. some nice effects in the demo vid.
i'll put it on my to-do list, but that's years long.. i know i mentioned new fauna/oscine tract earlier in the year, once i'm finished with the current i'm probably working on a improved (playable this time..) trumpet (which will be a very quick project) and syng3 (different method, more realistic and customisable).
