Where did you create the preset folder? It should have gone in:abstractcats wrote:I just installed Windows 7 I've installed all my my Uhe stuff seems to have registered ok. BUT, it did not create the zabrafy preset folder, I've tried creating one my self but its not showing up
(your VST folder)/u-he/Zebra2.data/Presets/Zebrify
The capitalized 'Z' and the 'i' in Zebrify might be important too.

1. CrossTalk (Not only am I a sucker for any kind of formant action, this is just brilliant for getting a percussion sample talking. Just wow.)
2. Lowlands+ (Likewise, nice work in getting something tuneful out of a percussion sample. Gives a nice rhythmic pulse to a bassline played via MIDI.)
3. zebr-a-men 10 (I'll admit I wasn't taken by this one as much as my first two, but if you're gonna pile the FX on (which, after all, is what Zebrify is about), considerate XY programming like this patch gives the user much flexibility and control. And the keyboard playability makes it a performance piece too.)

Looks like we have no choice, we have a tie for first right now.hakey wrote:@bmrzycki
With the votes being so close, it might be an idea to wait for abstractcats' vote, even if that takes us past the official deadline.

Might a well cast my votes, since it doesn't seem to change the result
1: "Dub FX" - well, it is useful in a mix situation
2: "chippy" - got me playing
3: "Lowlands+" - got me listening
I tried to make a preset for the competition, but didn't find it easy, - so I'm applauding all the patches!

I've got a pending event tomorrow morning and I won't be able to officially close out the contest until I return home in the afternoon. I'll try to get to it as soon as I can.

Voting is closed! This has been one of our closest contests so I'd appreciate if someone double-checks my math...
By my tally first place goes to moocher for his preset WinduUp! Congratulations!
And thanks again to everyone to entered and voted.

Gee thanks guys. I only really entered to keep these competitions alive as they bring some really great ideas to the table. I think Zebrify is a great plug, I had been toying with it for guitar and would love LFO sync although I believe Urs has indicated that it is not an option. I have made patches for the other comps but not entered them as I hadn't thought them good enough. This will allow me to finally complete my U-he stable as I have all of Urs' wonderful plugs except A.C.E. May I compliment the other entries, a very high standard and I'm frankly surprised (but very pleased) by the result. Many thanks chaps!
