Yes, same experience here. anyways, don't need em all presets. just one that enables the effects section.EvilDragon wrote:EDIT: Hmmm, yeah, it works with BS THXish, but not all presets. Weird.
Diva's Plate Reverb - also in Uhbik-A ?

Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

ok, I got this working. I think I did this by deleting the "midi-in" component.sardaukar wrote:I can get it to work in ableton (with metaplugin), as described above (with BS THXish) presest, but not in Bitwig '-( Has anyone got any other ideas?

Why did you connect the MIDI component in the first place ?sardaukar wrote:ok, I got this working. I think I did this by deleting the "midi-in" component.
As I said previously:
Tp3 wrote:Load DIVA into Metaplugin EFFECT (NOT the synth).
connect the audio inputs of MP to DIVAs audio input, connect DIVAs audio output to MP output...
play something (remember, DIVA is now acting as an effect) and start flicking through presets.

A default instance of MetaPlugin shows a midi-in component. I'm guessing when present, BitWig it decides that its to accept midi, and not audio.
Anyhow, i'm very pleased it works

I just want to reiterate it : this is a STUNNING Reverb. plain and simple (or, rather : plate and simple
)

I really have to agree. I've tried reproducing it in other reverb plugins, and I really can't. I'm surprised u-he's own uhbik-a reverb wouldn't include such a sound.Tp3 wrote:I just want to reiterate it : this is a STUNNING Reverb. plain and simple (or, rather : plate and simple)
In fact, the devs might want to consider introducing a new dedicated reverb plugin, which includes this algorithm and others which have been modeled on other hardware units.
If the other emulations sound as good as this one, I think it would be a real winner

I think there's a case for an expanded Uber Uhbik reverb combining the plates from Diva, Z-Rev's non-lin reverb fx (which are crazy cool) and the spring from Bazille.

Yea, totally forgot about Z-REV.aMUSEd wrote:I think there's a case for an expanded Uber Uhbik reverb combining the plates from Diva, Z-Rev's non-lin reverb fx (which are crazy cool) and the spring from Bazille.
Anyways, I just generated a LOT of presets for Z-REV (sorry, I'm too dumb to understand what is going on there, or what I was doing. just used me ears). a created a small patch bank called "The Uninitiated" (it's really "The Unfinished", but that name is already taken

I also love this reverb. I usually bounce synths "dry" and use separate reverb plugins for flexibility in routing and mixing, but this built-in reverb is so delicious.Urs wrote:Uhbik-A is based on the same principle but sounds smoother. The Diva plate is a close recreation of a classic one.
I learned something during the development though which I want to add back to Uhbik-A some time
May I ask which "classic one" is the inspiration?

Sardaukar, (or anyone still here) - is there any chance you/someone could confirm that this is still working in ableton?:) It would be hugely appreciated. Can't seem to get the audio through even with BS THXish , but I would absolutely love to get this to work.sardaukar wrote: Mon Jul 07, 2014 1:12 am I can get it to work in ableton (with metaplugin), as described above (with BS THXish) presest, but not in Bitwig '-( Has anyone got any other ideas?
Many Thanks

Twangström may be able to replicate Bazilles spring already as it was inspired by it if I remember correctly.aMUSEd wrote: Mon Jul 07, 2014 4:07 pm I think there's a case for an expanded Uber Uhbik reverb combining the plates from Diva, Z-Rev's non-lin reverb fx (which are crazy cool) and the spring from Bazille.
