I am saying about other thing. To say the truth, I even not sure if it exists. I often saw virus basses, where was several detuned oscillators, but sound was without low frequency harmonic cancellation and had steady amplitude, so it isn't simple Hypersaw or osc detuning.
In addition there is thread in ImageLine forum http://forum.image-line.com/viewtopic.php?t=27359, and there is Virus unison sample also without strong phaseing effects and low-frequency-harmonic cancellation.
So I decided that Virus unison works the similar to Hypercomb way: oscillator's frequencies are not being detuned, but have it's phase fast modulated. May be I am wrong.
