I see. Still, the actual design in all of these could be better. Having a smooth surface on a synth pot is not the best option. It's most likely cheaper to manufacture than a pot with a more textured design, so that may explain why Waldorf uses them.

This is a little beyond my meagre soldering skills, unfortunately.

Hopefully, though, Waldorf have learned from this.
Strange. This means that the problem is not a mechanical one it looks.

I mostly use a free editor software when programming my Blofeld from scratch so this could be one reason why i never got a problem like that:

I quite like the texture of the pots on the Blofeld...

Would have been really interesting if it had VCOs, but it probably just has DCOs, like Pulse. 3 oscillators is good. I'd like to hear it.

I think it's a nice addtion :)
A small first step towards a new polyphonic analog synth :)

I'd rather pay a little more money for more knobs!
+1, seems like waste of real estate not having user friendly knobs to tweak

Yes, The Wave 2! For the price of a Kronos or Jupiter 8000. I keep dreaming.

Post

Wave 2 for a price of Kronos? I WOULD BUY THAT IMMEDIATELY!!!

But, alas, it won't happen.

thanks man, those explain the paraphonic mode, it's a CHORD function, actually. Great.

Well, yes, a polyphonic mode. Using a single oscillator to get polyphony, like in old string machines.

Is that also like the Korg Mono/poly had?

No. See above.
